In the Black Country there are lots of organisations that will advertise for design, arts and crafts roles. Many of these tend to be advertised through recruitment agencies such as MET recruitment.
These careers can involve coming up with your own ideas or following a customer’s design and then creating and selling something. Design involves art and creativity but may also involve technical and engineering skills, depending on the job. This sector is likely to have more jobs in the future and these are less likely to be replaced by automation
